Non-Greasy Dedicated After-Sauna Cream Released!

Aug 24, 2026

Do you take care of your skin after the sauna?

We have been measuring heart rates with the sauna device and Sanokuni to quantify "totonoi". While examining the elements that make up the sauna experience one by one—breathing, sleep, scent—we encountered a problem that almost everyone experiences, even though it doesn't show up in data: dry skin after the sauna.

This cannot be solved just by measuring. A sauna session doesn't end the moment you step out the door. To improve the continuous sauna experience, including what comes "after," we developed a new product.

Move smoothly to what's next after the sauna

You don't want to bring extra luggage for going to the sauna. You don't have time to take your time caring for your skin. You don't want to apply something sticky and stain the clothes you change into. We looked for a moisturizer that met the conditions for "after the sauna," but couldn't find anything that truly satisfied us.

Right after applying, the surface of this sauna cream feels smooth and non-greasy, allowing you to put on your clothes right away. For your face, arms, and legs. A single tube for wherever you feel dryness. All you need to bring is this one small tube.

A smooth texture achieved with Yamagata clay

Clay refers to clay in Japanese. It is a mineral formed over many years through the weathering of volcanic ash and other materials. Its particles are finer than sand or silt, giving it a large surface area and a unique layered crystal structure.

However, using clay primarily for moisturizing is inherently not easy. If left on the skin, it dries over time and can cause a tight sensation. That is why clay is strongly associated with face packs and cleansers.

What we selected was sodium-type montmorillonite from Yamagata Prefecture. Montmorillonite is divided into Na-type and Ca-type depending on the ions between its layers, and the Na-type has the property of swelling significantly even with a small amount of water. Sauna Cream harnesses this property for moisture retention. Even after application, it leaves a smooth, light touch.
We chose clay from Japanese geological strata to apply to your skin after a sauna session.

Skin conditions change with the seasons

Sticky skin in summer, dryness in winter. How often you visit the sauna and how you sweat change depending on the season. That's why we prepared two types.

SAUNA CREAM / Sauna Cream SS

Spring/Summer: Even in seasons when you tend to sweat, skin dries out after a sauna session. SS uses squalane, a light-feeling oil, as a base for a refreshing texture. It is formulated with two types of clay: montmorillonite and kaolin.

SAUNA CREAM FW

Fall/Winter: For autumn and winter, seasons that are dry to begin with. Formulated with hyaluronic acid as a moisturizing ingredient and rich shea butter, it provides a smooth yet deeply hydrated feel. Uses montmorillonite clay exclusively.
