When the location changes, so does the totonoi. Temperature, humidity, water, wind, and sound. In Hokuriku and Shikoku, there are sauna experiences unique to each region.
The Totonoi - 1 Regional Tournament is a competition to explore "totonoi unique to the region". What is visualized by the sauna device are changes in heart rate and the autonomic nervous system. Behind those scores are the subtle physical realizations like "this water is what calmed me down" or "this outdoor air bath is what deepened my breathing."
What we compete for is who was able to harmonize with the land the most. It is a place where sauna enthusiasts from all over the country participate, with regional saunas playing the main role, to uncover "totonoi styles" that have not yet been put into words.

Collaboration with Isetan Sauna-kan
Mitsukoshi Isetan's popular event "Isetan Sauna-kan" will be held at Niigata Isetan and Takamatsu Mitsukoshi in March! As a special collaboration with this event, Sanokuni will hold area-limited "Totonoi - 1" tournaments in the two host regions of Hokuriku and Shikoku.
Not only local sauna enthusiasts, but also those traveling from other regions for this opportunity, let's join forces and liven up the sauna scene in Hokuriku and Shikoku!

Anyone who uses the Sanokuni app and the sauna device can participate!
All participants will receive a special "Stamp"! There are also rewards honoring top-ranking participants!

How to Challenge
The tournament you entered will be displayed under "Select Totonoi - 1 to Challenge" within the basic info screen shown when creating a Totonoi Log. Please check "Totonoi - 1: Hokuriku Tournament 2026" or "Totonoi - 1: Shikoku Tournament 2026" and submit your data.
Event Rules:
To ensure fairness while allowing everyone to have fun, the event will be held under the following rules.
Eligible Facilities
Public facilities with saunas registered in Sanokuni located in the following regions are eligible:
- Hokuriku (Niigata, Ishikawa, Toyama, and Fukui Prefectures)
- Shikoku (Kochi, Ehime, Kagawa, and Tokushima Prefectures)
*If the facility is unregistered, please register the facility from within the app.
*Please do not attempt the challenge at facilities where smartwatches are not allowed.
Check-in Required
On-site Check-in is required. (Click here for how to Check-in)
The "T-Flow Score" measured during your stay at the facility will be reflected in the ranking.
One Serious Match per Day
You can only challenge once a day, resetting daily at 4:00 AM.
You can challenge as many times as you like during the period
Under the once-a-day rule, you can challenge as many times as you like during the period.
The Totonoi Log with the highest T-Flow Score will be used for the rankings.
The highest T-Flow Score from the Totonoi Logs challenged during the period will be automatically registered.
The overall evaluation value of the Totonoi Log is the "T-Flow Score" used.

Original goods will be presented to the top winners in both the Hokuriku and Shikoku competitions.

Understanding how to take a sauna correctly, how to totonoi, reading your Totonoi Log, and the meaning of the 'T-Flow Score' will make exploring your totonoi even easier!
The 'T-Flow Score' displayed in Sanokuni is an index that includes safety, and taking an unreasonable sauna bath will significantly lower your score.

FAQ
Q. If I do 3 Sets, will the highest score of the individual Sets be used?
A. Rather than individual Set values, the overall score displayed on your Totonoi Log will be used.
Q. Is any model of the sauna device okay to use?
A. Yes, both the SHOWDOWN 1 and Gakken models are fine.
Q. The sauna I often visit is not registered in Sanokuni.
A. You can request a facility registration by submitting an application through the Sanokuni app!
Q. Can I participate using a private sauna?
A. Yes, as long as it is operated as a business facility and is registered in Sanokuni! You cannot participate using completely private saunas, such as one at home.
