“Totonoi is shaped by the land.”
When the location changes, the totonoi changes too. Temperature, humidity, water, wind, and sound. Hokuriku and Shikoku offer sauna experiences unique to each local land.
The Totonoi - 1 regional competition is a contest that explores "totonoi unique to the region". What is visualized by the sauna device are changes in heart rate and the autonomic nervous system. Behind those scores lies a small awareness of the body, such as "I felt calm because of this water" or "my breathing deepened because of this open-air bath".
What is contested is who was able to harmonize with the land the most. This is a place where saunners from all over the country participate, with local saunas as the main attraction, to uncover "totonoi patterns" that have not yet been put into words.

Collaboration with Isetan Sauna-kan
Mitsukoshi Isetan's popular event, "Isetan Sauna-kan," will be held in March at Niigata Isetan and Takamatsu Mitsukoshi! A highly anticipated sauna event for all sauna lovers is coming to Niigata and Takamatsu.
As a special collaboration with this event, Sanokuni will hold a regional "Totonoi - 1" in the two host areas of Hokuriku and Shikoku.
Not only local saunners, but also those who travel from other regions for this occasion, let's work together to boost the sauna scene in Hokuriku and Shikoku!

- “Niigata Isetan Bath” by Isetan Sauna-kan: March 4 (Wed) – 9 (Mon) @ Niigata Isetan
- “Takamatsu Mitsukoshi Bath” by Isetan Sauna-kan: March 11 (Wed) – 16 (Mon) @ Takamatsu Mitsukoshi
Entry Requirements:
All saunners who use Sanokuni and the sauna device
Anyone who uses the Sanokuni app and sauna device can participate!
All participants will receive a special Stamp! Top-ranking players will also receive rewards to honor their achievements!
Event Period:
The event periods for "Totonoi - 1: Hokuriku Competition 2026" and "Totonoi - 1: Shikoku Competition 2026" are as follows!
February 25 (Wednesday) – March 18 (Wednesday)
Pre-entry is available from February 20 (Friday)!

How to Enter
To take on the challenge, you need to Entry from the Totonoi - 1 event page.
Please access the event page below via "Totonoi - 1" under the Home tab in the app to Entry.

How to Challenge
The tournament you have entered will be displayed under "Select Totonoi - 1 to Challenge" in the basic information screen shown when creating a Totonoi Log. Check "Totonoi - 1: Hokuriku Tournament 2026" or "Totonoi - 1: Shikoku Tournament 2026" and send the data.
Event Rules:
To ensure fairness and make it enjoyable for everyone, the event will be held under the following rules.
Eligible Facilities
Public facilities with saunas registered on Sanokuni in the following regions are eligible
- Hokuriku (Niigata, Ishikawa, Toyama, Fukui)
- Shikoku (Kochi, Ehime, Kagawa, Tokushima)
*If the facility is unregistered, please register the facility within the app.
*Please do not attempt the challenge at facilities where smartwatches are not allowed.
Check-in Required
A local Check-in is required. (Click here for Check-in instructions）
The "T-Flow Score" measured during your stay at the facility will be reflected in the ranking.
One Serious Match per Day
You can challenge only once a day, and it resets every day at 4:00 AM.
Multiple Challenges Allowed During the Period
Under the once-a-day rule, you can challenge as many times as you like during the period.
The Totonoi Log with the highest T-Flow Score will be used for the ranking
The highest T-Flow Score among the Totonoi Logs challenged during the period will be automatically registered.
The overall evaluation value of the Totonoi Log is the adopted "T-Flow Score."

Original goods will be presented to the top winners in both the Hokuriku and Shikoku competitions.

Understanding the correct way to take a sauna, the mechanism of totonou, how to read your Totonoi Log, and the meaning of the "T-Flow Score" will make it easier to explore your totonoi!
The "T-Flow Score" displayed in Sanokuni is an index that includes safety, and pushing yourself too hard in the sauna will significantly lower your score.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. If I do 3 Sets, will the highest score among the individual Sets be used?
A. It is not the individual Set values, but the overall score displayed in the Totonoi Log that is targeted.
Q. Is any model of the sauna device okay to use?
A. Either the SHOWDOWN 1 or the Gakken model is fine.
Q. The sauna I often visit is not registered in Sanokuni.
A. If you submit a request from the Sanokuni app, Facility registration is possible!
Q. Can I participate even at a private sauna?
A. Yes, as long as it is operated as a Facility and is registered in Sanokuni! You cannot participate at completely private saunas such as your home.
