Please Register Your Nickname
Dec 16, 2025

Thank you for always using Sanokuni!
Here is a Notice from Sanokuni.
From the perspective of protecting personal information, please re-register the "Username" registered in Sanokuni as a "Nickname" that can be made public.
Previously, when creating a Sanokuni account, the username registered to your Google account or Apple ID was used as the initial username for Sanokuni. However, from now on, we will automatically register a random nickname that does not identify individuals as the initial setting.
By premising that the "Username" registered in Sanokuni will be published in Sanokuni as a "Nickname", we will be able to add a wider variety of content and features in the future!
How to register your nickname
💡 For those who created an account after December 15, 2025, a random nickname has already been registered as the default, so the "Request to Register Nickname" screen below will not be displayed.
* You can change your nickname from the Profile screen.

When you update the Sanokuni app (iOS: 2.12.8, Android: 2.12.7), the "Request to Register Nickname" screen will be displayed automatically.
Please check the details and set your nickname using one of the following methods.
- Register your current Profile name as your nickname
- Register using the suggested random nickname
- Enter and register your own nickname
💡 Option 1 is only displayed for those who already have a name registered on the Sanokuni Profile screen.
What exactly does making the nickname public mean?
- For those participating in Totonoi - 1, this "Nickname" will be published in the rankings.
- In the future, we are planning a feature that allows you to view the Totonoi Logs of other users who have shared them. The "Nickname" will also be displayed then. Of course, you will be able to choose individually whether or not to make your own Totonoi Logs public.
Precautions when registering your nickname
- This nickname will be displayed when sharing Totonoi Logs and in the Totonoi - 1 rankings.
- Please set a username that does not include personal information such as "name, email address, or phone number."
- Expressions that offend public order and morals are prohibited. Please also avoid names that lead to misunderstandings or trouble.
- It is possible to have the same nickname as other people.
- The nickname can be changed later.
This concludes the announcement from Sanokuni regarding the [Request for Nickname Registration].
We look forward to your continued support of Sanokuni!
